Swarthmore: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Swarthmore: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Swarthmore CollegeSwarthmore, PA — Swarthmore only has four returning players from the 2013 – 2014 Team Championships. Yet the team is optimistic. Captain John Hau explains, “We lost a lot of depth from last year with a number of graduating seniors and non-returning players in the middle of the ladder. However, we have a very talented bunch of kids who will contribute immediately in the top half of the lineup and a group of athletic and motivated newcomers who will challenge our returning players for spots in the bottom half of the starting lineup.” With the new team members, Swarthmore wants to win the Serues Cup (F Division) this year. The squad is looking forward to matches with Lehigh and Haverford, two squads that finished ahead of the Phoenix last season. With so much change to the Swarthmore line-up, look for the team to develop as the season progresses.
