Franklin & Marshall: 2009-2010 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

fandmLancaster, PA — Franklin & Marshall,  last season’s 22nd ranked team, wants to enter the top 20.  Coach John White is even talking about competing in the Kurtz Cup at the National Team Championships (Howe Cup).  These goals will only be realized if the team is mentally focused and in top physical condition. According to White, the team “is going to be in very very good shape this season!”

Seniors Courtney Mulligan and Dana Russo will captain the nine returning players.  In addition, first-year students Chelsea Ross and Katherine Bares will be joining the Diplomats.

The team is excited about its new five-court video system, which will allow for video recording and analysis of practices. It will also allow for live streaming of matches.  The system even has microphones embedded on each court to bring the complete experience to web viewers.
