Lewisburg, PA — Bucknell almost made it to their first Team Championships last season. The Bison were seeded 35th and held a position in the E Division, but the blizzard caused them to cancel their trip to the event. This season, Bucknell is hoping to make their post season debut. According to Abby Del Guercio, Bucknell’s goal “is to be competitive in every match. We set smaller goals such as winning points or winning games to be as competitive as we can be given losing our number one player and many girls to study abroad.” The Bison know that matches with Johns Hopkins and Georgetown will be critically important this season. If the Bison can play competitively and avoid snowy weather conditions, they may find themselves in New Haven for the 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships in February.
