Baltimore, MD — The Blue Jays set ambitious goals last season, and their efforts paid off. “Our team worked hard to move seven places in the rankings in the 2011-2012 season,” says co-captain Peter Wu. Though the Blue Jays are pleased with last season’s success, they aren’t done. “No team will work harder than we will to make it to 25 this season,” Wu vows. The entire starting line-up will be back, and three new players will make the roster even deeper. Harrison Finkelstein (Horace Mann) is expected to play in the top 3, and Anderson Liu (Tabor) and Stefan Reichenstein (Riverdale) will be competing for spots in the bottom 3. Johns Hopkins will also be working with two new coaches to help them reach their goals. Additionally, the team plans to give back to the community. According to Wu, “This year the team is working to build on our relationship with SquashWise, a local urban enrichment program similar to StreetSquash, City Squash, and Squashbusters. The team really enjoys having the opportunity to work with such motivated kids.”
