CSA Set to Introduce New Team Championship Format in 2024

The CSA introduces a new championship format to commemorate the 100th season of college squash. For the first time since 2016, men’s and women’s teams will be competing alongside each other across two distinct events. The championship series begins in mid-February with the Divisional Team Championships, where men’s and women’s teams ranked 13th and below will compete for their titles. This will be followed by the CSA National Collegiate Team Championships on February 29 to March 3, where the top 12-ranked men’s and women’s teams will contend for the Potter Cup and Howe Cup, respectively. This change in format is set to bring a fresh dynamic to these championships, highlighting the depth and diversity of college squash talent.

“This new format is a step we are eager to evaluate and believe it will both infuse new energy into our sport and provide a platform to celebrate the remarkable talent of our teams and collegiate athletes” said Harry Smith, Interim League Commissioner.

Alongside these championships, mark your calendars and join us at our CSA@100 receptions on February 16 and March 1, coinciding with the Divisional and National Team Championships, respectively. These receptions will offer an opportunity to discuss CSA’s efforts to expand our sport and cultivate a community committed to securing the next century of college squash.2024 CSA Divisional Team Championships
