The Site Director will assume full “on the ground” leadership of SquashDrive’s operation in Redwood City, managing programmatic execution, facility and school partnerships, and strategic planning in conjunction with SquashDrive leadership.

About the Organization

SquashDrive and Squash On Track (soon to merge) are non-profit after-school enrichment programs guided by the mission to improve the lives of youth in the Bay Area. Silicon Valley students learn how to play squash, receive academic and other support tailored to their needs, and become part of a supportive community centered at Squash Zone, a state-of-the-art squash center with nine squash courts and dedicated academic space.

With an operating budget of $350,000, Squash On Track enrolls approximately 30 elementary and middle school students and aims to expand to at least 40 students by 2028 as SquashDrive Silicon Valley.

Key Responsibilities

      • Manage and run the daily youth program in a manner which ensures exceptional programming, maximum enrollment, and excellent attendance, in-year and longitudinal retention.
      • Support comprehensive development/fundraising efforts to build the financial assets of the organization.
      • Lead and develop SquashDrive Silicon Valley personnel to ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent and longevity of leadership within the organization.
      • Oversee the organization’s facility needs.
      • Support SquashDrive leadership in all matters of fiscal and legal compliance for the organization, ensuring comprehensive “good standing.”
      • Support development of the SquashDrive Board of Directors, working closely with leadership to engage Silicon Valley constituents.
      • Evaluate the program’s impact on its students and other constituents, and share the details of such impact with the Board of Directors annually.
      • Work with SquashDrive leadership to develop a strategic plan focused on the Redwood City location, and subsequently execute toward plan goals.

      • Communication & Execution: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to work under pressure, delegate effectively, and manage complex, multi-stakeholder facility and community dynamics.
