Colgate: 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Colgate UniversityHamilton , NY — With zero seniors on this year’s squad, Colgate is looking to use this season to improve their skills and gain experience. According to head coach Ben Oliver, Colgate had great improvements to their home courts during the offseason. “The walls were all patched, repainted, and relined, and the floors were repaired and resurfaced. One court had a completely new floor put in,” states Oliver. With the renovated courts, the Raiders are looking forward to hosting a few home matches this season, including a small round robin with William Smith, Boston University, and Minnesota. Colgate knows that matches with teams that finished last season around them in the rankings will be key. The Raiders are eyeing matches with Rochester, Smith, and Vassar. With three incoming players with squash experience joining the team, the Raiders expect to have a much deeper ladder this season. Don’t be surprised if Colgate finishes in the top half of the E Division this season.
