Johns Hopkins: 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Johns Hopkins UniversityBaltimore, MD — With four seniors, Johns Hopkins is looking to make the most of the upcoming season. The Blue Jays have hired Susan Lawrence as their coach, and according to co-captain Caroline Plapinger, the team “would like to work on strategy and variety of shots.” Last season, Johns Hopkins bested Dickinson, 5-4, and lost two matches to Georgetown, 4-5. The Blue Jays are looking forward to rematches this season, which will be key matches if Johns Hopkins would like to improve on their seeding for Team Championships. Last season, Johns Hopkins played all of their second semester regular season matches in a single weekend. To improve, it would benefit the team to play additional matches throughout the second semester. Look for Johns Hopkins to conclude the 2015 – 2016 season in the bottom half of the Epps Cup.
