Franklin & Marshall: 2011 – 2012 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Lancaster, PA — The 2010-2011 C Division finals came down to the wire, with Franklin & Marshall pulling out a 5-4 win over Hamilton in the end.

F&M’s varsity roster from last season will remain intact, as the  team members who graduated played in non-starting positions. The team will, however, have some new faces. There are three new first-year players: Halley Cruice, Erin Golueke, and Katherine Perry. And the Diplomats will also have a new head coach, former Wales national champion Gavin Jones, who succeeds John White. Jones comes to F&M from the Cynwyd Club in Pennsylvania, where he has coached since 2007.

Fans of F&M’s legendary introductions will be glad to hear that associate head coach Ron Epps will be back to share information about schools’ mottoes and histories as well as his knowledge of the game and the values it embodies.
