Northampton, MA — For most teams, the 2011 – 2012 College Squash Association season will commence in early November. As we prepare for the season, CollegeSquashAssociation.com will be publishing team preview articles for its member schools.
Similar to last season, one to three previews will be published per day. The previews will be published in a random order, so please check back frequently (or follow the CSA on Twitter or Facebook) to find your favorite team’s preview. The 2011 – 2012 College Squash Season Preview page has been set up to display an alphabetical listing of all published previews. This page will grow throughout the coming weeks.
In mid-August, a preseason questionnaire was sent to each coach, team contact, and sports information directors. The questionnaire covered such topics as expected rosters, notable first-year players, key matches, captains, program changes (new staff, facility upgrades, etc.), and notable off-court achievements of players. Based on the information from the responses to the preseason questionnaire, team websites, and the CSA’s archives, the preview articles were assembled.
CollegeSquashAssociation.com will only publish preview articles for teams that submitted their preseason questionnaires. Teams that haven’t submitted their questionnaires yet are encouraged to do so. Teams may submit questionnaires until October 7, 2011.
When the 2011 – 2012 college squash season previews have concluded in late October, the preseason team rankings for both the men and the women will be released.
