Ivy League Squash Standings (12/16/2009)

Ivy LeagueNorthampton, MA — As the first semester of the 2009 – 2010 college squash season closes, CollegeSquashAssociation.com will be publishing the standings for the Ivy, NESCAC, and Liberty leagues.

There are eight schools in the Ivy League; however, Colombia does not have any Ivy League opponents on its men’s and women’s schedules this season.

Currently, Ivy League schools hold seven of the top ten positions in the women’s team rankings and seven of the top thirteen positions in the men’s team rankings.

The Ivy League standings are the win/loss totals against other Ivy League opponents and are not the same as national rankings.

Women’s Ivy League Squash Standings through December 16th:

  • 1. Harvard University (3-0 – Defeated Brown, Dartmouth, and Cornell)
  • 1. University of Pennsylvania (3-0 – Defeated Cornell, Yale, and Brown)
  • 3. Princeton University (2-0 – Defeated Cornell and Brown)
  • 4. Yale Univeristy (0-1 – Lost to Penn)
  • 4. Dartmouth College (0-1 – Lost to Harvard)
  • 6. Brown University (0-3 – Lost to Harvard, Princeton, and Penn)
  • 6. Cornell University (0-3 – Lost to Penn, Princeton, and Harvard)

Men’s Ivy League Squash Standings through December 16th:

  • 1. Harvard University (3-0 – Defeated Brown, Dartmouth, and Cornell)
  • 2. Princeton University (2-0 – Defeated Cornell and Brown)
  • 3. Yale University (1-0 – Defeated Penn)
  • 4. Cornell University (1-2 – Defeated Penn, Lost to Princeton and Harvard)
  • 5. University of Pennsylvania (1-2 – Defeated Brown, Lost to Cornell and Yale)
  • 6. Dartmouth College (0-1 – Lost to Harvard)
  • 7. Brown University (0-3 – Lost to Harvard, Princeton, and Penn)
