2009-2010 Men’s College Squash Team Rankings (12/18/2009)

College Squash AssociationNorthampton, MA — Today, the men’s College Squash Association released its third team rankings of the season.

In the top ten, there were two significant moves.  Rochester’s victory over Princeton vaulted the Yellowjackets to second in the rankings, while Western Ontario’s 5-4 victory over Penn moved the Mustangs to seventh.

With losses to Northwestern and Wesleyan, Northeastern dropped from 25th to 32nd. Connecticut, Northwestern, Wesleyan, and MIT moved up to 25th, 26th, 27th, and 31st, respectively.

Kenyon improved from 42nd to 33rd, a nine-position rise.  Not to be outdone, Boston College’s 6-3 victory over Boston University catapulted the Eagles from 58th to 40th, a phenomenal 18-position improvement.

Vermont and Bucknell also improved. The teams earned rankings of 49th and 50th, respectively.

With a loss to Bard, the Fordham Rams dropped from 45th to 53rd.
