Cambridge, MA –At the 2011 Men’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, Haverford and Boston College played in the consolation semifinals of the Chaffee Cup (“E” Division).
It was a match of “threes.” Five of the nine team matches were completed in three games. Boston College captured the lower three matches (positions 7 – 9), Haverford the middle three matches (positions 4 – 6), and Boston College won the top three matches (positions 1 – 3). In the end, Boston College won the match in their home city 6 – 3.
In the match at the number 1 position, Haverford’s Andrew McComas faced Boston College’s Milo Watanabe. Watanabe won the match in three games (11-6, 11-9, and 11-9).
