Hanover, NH — At the 2011 Women’s College Squash Individual Championships, the Ramsay Cup (“A” Division) consolation quarterfinals featured Valeria Wiens (Dartmouth) and Annie Madeira (Penn).
Wiens, a sophomore, went 12-5 on the season and she earned both All-Ivy League and All-American honors.
Like Wiens, Madeira also earned All-Ivy and All-American honors. On the season, Madeira went 13-4. She graduated with 55 career victories for the Quakers.
In the tournament, Wiens and Madeira played an exciting four-game match. Ultimately, Wiens captured the match (13-11, 11-6, 9-11, and 11-9).
