Lewiston, ME — As the first semester drew to a close, Tufts visited Bates in the final match of the fall semester.
Greg Born captured the video of the top match between Ahmed Hatata (Bates), a first-year, and Aditya Advani (Tufts), a sophomore. Born, who is known as the “godfather of The Maine Squash League,” is the director of the Portland Community Squash.
Hatata (Bates) captured the individual match in three games (11-7, 11-7, and 11-7), and the Bobcats earned a 9-0 victory over the Jumbos.
Through the first semester, Bates is 2-1. The Bobcats have defeated Bowdoin and Tufts. The Jumbos are 1-8. They defeated Boston University.
Tufts resumes play on January 18th against Bucknell and Drexel. Bates hosts Williams and Conn College on January 11th.
