U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen
2021-2022 SEASON PREVIEW
- Navy was one of the very few teams that competed in a match during last season, but despite that, their thirst for competition remains at an extremely high level.
- One of head coach Tyler Osborne’s main tasks in preparation for this season was filling the leadership and talent void left by a strong graduating senior class and the loss of Skillman Award winner Jack Lentz.
- While Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference foes are always a priority, Navy also has a key set of matches against NESCAC opponents which will greatly impact the success of their season.

Coach’s Quote: “We are just really looking forward to traveling and competing this upcoming season. Last season was hard with a lot of practices, but very little competition. The team was resilient, but the lack of competition was certainly draining mentally. It will be interesting to see how this year shapes up. A lot of teams will look different with 2 full new classes and some returning seniors, which will present a lot of tough competition. We couldn’t be more excited to dig in and compete once again.”
