Tufts: 2018-2019 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

In rookie head coach Joe Raho’s first year at the helm of the Tufts Women’s Squash program, the team was able to maintain their previous level of success, finishing 19th in the CSA rankings for the second straight year.  With nine of the ten members of their starting lineup returning to this year’s squad and an extra year under Raho’s guidance, they will likely have their sights set even higher in 2019.  Among the returners are Second Team All-NESCAC performer and Number 1 player Julie Yeung and CSA Individual Championships participant Claire Davidson.  Joining the team are Raho’s first three recruits who will fight for lineup positions in their first year.  Three of the teams ahead of Tufts in the rankings – Middlebury, Amherst, and Dickinson – will pose the biggest challenges during the regular season this year as they fight to earn a place in the B Division draw.
