Colby: 2016 – 2017 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Colby College Waterville, ME — Colby has ambitious goals for the 2016 – 2017 season. The Mules finished last season with a 4th place finish in the Walker Cup (C Division) at the Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships. According to head coach Sakhi Khan, Colby wants to win the Walker Cup (C Division). With 3 of their top 4 players from last season’s Team Championship starting line-up not returning, the four first-year students joining the team will need to make an immediate impact if the Mules want to accomplish their goal. Colby had four 5-4 matches last season, including three losses to Maine and NESCAC rival Bowdoin. If the Mules intend to win into the Walker Cup, they need to win their close matches.
