Yale: 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Yale UniversityNew Haven, CT — After finishing last season ranked 5th in the nation and graduating three seniors, Yale is in a rebuilding phase. “While we are rebuilding our team, we are using this time to gain the experience necessary to win an Ivy League and national title in the next two years. We are confident that we can finish in the top 3 nationally and in the Ivy League. Given the leadership and work ethic our team currently have we are confident that we will rise beyond the expectations that others might have of us,” states associate head coach Pam Saunders. Four talented newcomers with international playing experience will be joining the Bulldogs’ lineup this year. The young squad will be working with SquashHaven and enjoying the impact they have on the urban squash program. If Yale can maintain their win percentages from last season in the middle and lower thirds of their ladder and increase the win percentage of the top 3, look for the Bulldogs to return to a top three ranking position.
