Poirier and Tang, Sam and Alex Jaffe Crowned 2026 U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Champions


BALA CYNWYD, PA. — The College Squash Association (CSA) crowned its newest national doubles champions on Sunday at the historic Cynwyd Club in Bala Cynwyd, Pa. Following two days of competition, the United States Naval Academy’s Hudson Poirier and Wenqing Tang captured the men’s title, while Princeton University’s Sam Jaffe and Alex Jaffe took home the women’s championship.

Poirier and Tang Capture Men’s Title
In the men’s division, Navy showcased remarkable depth as the tournament ultimately culminated in an all-Midshipmen final. Hudson Poirier and Wenqing Tang powered their way past teammates Christian Graziano and Johan Hodgson to claim their first national title with a 15-6, 15-14, 15-11 victory.

This victory marks the eighth Intercollegiate Doubles Championship for the Navy program, which has impressively featured a team in the finals in 11 of the last 14 championships. 

Jaffe Duo Secures Women’s Crown
On the women’s side, Princeton’s dynamic pairing of Sam Jaffe and Alex Jaffe delivered a masterclass in teamwork and court coverage to win the 2026 U.S. Intercollegiate Women’s Doubles Championship. The Jaffes utilized their innate chemistry and precise shot-making to win the weekend.

The Jaffes’ commanding performance brings the Intercollegiate Doubles trophy back to New Jersey.

The CSA extends its thanks to the Cynwyd Club for hosting another spectacular weekend of championship doubles squash.
