Baltimore, MD — With only three victories entering the 2014 – 2015 Team Championships, Johns Hopkins won two matches to finish the season ranked 35th. The Blue Jays hope to re-enter the top 30s in the rankings this season. This could be a challenging goal given the rise of a number of teams in the high 20s to low 30s. Co-captain Noel Swanson recognizes this fact and points out Georgetown and Chicago in particular. “We are looking forward to playing Georgetown, as they have been very tough competitors in the past. In addition, we consider UChicago to be a key match after a disappointing loss last season,” he states. The Blue Jays did not gain any experience in 5-4 matches last season; however, they played and lost four 6-3 matches. The team will need to focus and be in winnable matches to achieve their top 30 aspirations.
