Chicago: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Chicago, University ofChicago, IL — Chicago had quite the debut season. They made it to the finals of the 2013 – 2014 Serues Cup, ultimately finishing as the runners-up. This season, the Maroons will attempt to move higher in the rankings. To do so, the squad will need to face stronger opponents and play matches with and against rosters with nine players. Chicago is eyeing matches with Washington University in St. Louis, last year’s Serues Cup winners; Northwestern, their local rival; and NYU. What makes last season more impressive is that the Maroons do not have regulation courts. They practice on five American (narrow) courts. This year, they are looking to find a Chicago facility with international courts to practice on and a coach to assist them on their quest for the top 40.
