Lehigh: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Lehigh UniversityBethlehem, PA — After finishing the 2012 – 2013 season as the runners up in the Serues Cup (F Division), Lehigh moved up to the Chaffee Cup (E Division) last season. According to co-captain Tyler Sloan, the Mountain Hawks’ goal for the upcoming season is “to continue to climb in the rankings as we build on our success from last season. We are excited to return most of our lineup and feel that we have a strong foundation in place for our team.” The team is hoping to publicize and teach the game of squash to those interested on the Lehigh campus. The team is eyeing matches against Haverford and Boston College, teams that finished higher than the Mountain Hawks last season. Sloan states that these matches “will be key for us as we assess where we stand before Nationals.” With only losing 2 players from last season’s Team Championship starting lineup, the team is poised to build on last season’s success.
