Dartmouth: 2013 – 2014 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Dartmouth College Hanover, NH — Dartmouth finished the 2012-2013 season with a .500 record. The Big Green went 9 and 9, finishing third in the Hoehn Cup at the Men’s National Team Championships and eleventh in the end of season rankings. “The team enters the season with the goal of competing for a championship in the A Division of the CSA championships,” says Dartmouth sports information director Stephen Cunha. “The team is looking to return to the top eight in 2013-14.” They will have to do it without three of their starters from last season, including their top two, co-captains Robbie Maycock and Chris Hanson, co-winner of the 2013 Skillman Award. Fortunately, five new players will be joining the program; they are Glen Brickman, Nicholas Harrington, George Henderson, and Joshua Renaud. Dartmouth plays a rigorous schedule, mostly against A and B Division teams. “As always the Ivy League schedule is a challenging one for Dartmouth and the team is looking forward to competing against some of the top teams and players in the country in conference and non-conference action,” says Cunha.
