Boston College: 2013 – 2014 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Boston College Boston, MA — Boston College’s strong performance during the regular season made them the top seed in the D Division at last year’s Women’s National Team Championships. Virginia upset the Eagles in the semifinals, and BC ended up finishing 28th in the nation. This year, BC looks to move up into the top 25, which would mean either winning the Epps Cup or moving up a division. “We have three new young additions to the team that we believe will strengthen our ladder and help our program grow and become more competitive this year and in the future,” senior Cassandre Burke announces. “We are excited to add Carlie Ladda, Katherine Neuberger, and Alexis Ditomassi to our team this year.” Local rivals Tufts and Wellesley will be essential matches for the Eagles and should help determine their ranking position. However, the Eagles are looking forward to competing outside the Boston area. “Last year we traveled outside of Boston for more matches to increase our competitive exposure. This year we are excited to have also added Haverford and Bucknell to our schedule,” says Burke.
