College Squash Hall of Fame Player Profile: Nancy Gengler

The College Squash Association’s Hall of Fame is located at the University of Pennsylvania. The CSA is complementing the Hall of Fame plaques with brief online synopses of Hall of Fame players, coaches, and friends.

Nancy Gengler learned squash upon her arrival at Princeton. Under the guidance of Betty Constanble, she took to the sport quickly. In 1976, her sophomore season, she won the intercollegiate singles championships. She also reached the finals in 1979 and 1980. She was a member of four team championships (1975, 1976, 1979, and 1980). She was named to the 1979 and 1980 All-Ivy League teams and captained the 1979-1980 Princeton team.

After college, Gengler played professionally.
