Amherst, MA — The annual Pioneer Valley Invitational was hosted by Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, and Smith College on January 18th – 20th. There were eleven schools participating in the event.
On the second day of the event, Haverford faced Northeastern. In the match at the #1 position, Andrew McComas (Haverford) faced Dennis Brinkworth (Northeastern). McComas captured the match in five games (11-6, 11-3, 13-15, and 11-8). Haverford defeated Northeastern, 7-2.
