Princeton, NJ — At the 2011 Women’s College Squash National Team Championships (Howe Cup), Boston College and Smith College played in the opening round of the Epps Cup (“D” Division).
Boston College recorded victories at the four top positions of the ladder, but Smith captured the final five positions to earn the victory. Smith went on to lose to Georgetown, but rebounded by beating Seven Sisters rival Wellesley. The Pioneers finished the year ranked 27th in the nation.
The Eagles lost to St. Lawrence in the consolation bracket, but defeated Northeastern to finish the season with the 31st ranking position.
