Colby: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Colby CollegeWaterville, ME — After concluding the 2013 – 2014 intercollegiate squash season ranked 23rd and finishing 7th in the Summers Cup (C Division), Colby wants to win the Summers Cup this season. To make that goal a reality, Colby will need solid play from the top and middle of its line-up. Last season, the top three and middle three captured 38% and 33% of their respective matches. The lower three were slightly more successful, wining 47% of matches played. As always, NESCAC matches will dominate the Mules’ schedule, especially meetings with Amherst, Bowdoin, and Wesleyan. Colby lost three players to graduation, but is expecting four additions to their line-up. Head coach Sakhi Khan is optimistic about the season stating, “Watch our rankings rise this year.”
