Amherst, MA — On November 30th, Drexel University visited Amherst College.
The Drexel match was Amherst’s first contest of the season. The Dragons defeated the Jeffs, 6-3.
After losing to Drexel and George Washington to open the season, Amherst defeated MIT and Northeastern to close out the calendar year. Drexel’s opening semester was full of challenging matches, including facing three of last season’s Potter Cup (A Division) competitors. In addition to Amherst, Drexel also defeated Conn College.
At the match at the #2 position, Justin Singh (Drexel) faced Alexander Southmayd (Amherst). Singh won the match in three games (11-7, 11-5, and 11-8). Here is video from the match.
