2022-2023 Season Preview 

• Hobart and William Smith brought home some major hardware in 2022 with both teams claiming divisional championships at the end of the season. The teams continue to grow and develop under head coach Pat Cosquer’s guidance and are aiming for even higher rankings in 2023.
• William Smith’s likely top two players will be new to the program this season, meaning the veterans will provide some crucial depth as they push for a Top-16 position.
• Both teams welcome talented transfers to the team, one of whom should be a key contributor at the top of the lineup for the Hobart men. Hobart has one of the deepest rosters that it has had in several years and should compete for strong positioning in the Summers (C) Division.

2022-2023 Season Preview 

• Haverford’s teams finished the 2021-2022 season on a high note by eclipsing some familiar foes at the team championships. 2023 presents a new opportunity to reach new heights.
• The women’s team welcomes two newcomers to fill two starting spots that were vacated by graduating seniors. They will likely fight for D Division glory in February.
• The Haverford men return five of their top six players on their ladder and add some key recruits who should factor into the system right away.

2022-2023 Season Preview 

• Harvard University has won the last seven Howe Cups and the last three Potter Cups, so expectations will once again be very high up in Cambridge.
• Despite the tradition of excellence over the past several years which should bolster the teams’ plans, there are big shoes to fill in the lineups due to prominent graduations.
• Two-time National Champion Victor Crouin and Two-time National Finalist Hana Moataz have both moved on to the professional ranks, while All-Americans Samuel Scherl and Amina Yousry have graduated too. The mantle will now be passed to Marina Stefanoni, Marwan Tarek, and others, whose accolades speak quite a bit for themselves.

• Seasoned head coach Jamie King has experienced many trials and tribulations over his career, but nothing is more welcome at the moment than an unrestricted squash season.
• He welcomes several new players to his lineup, many of whom will be thrust into significant roles starting at the beginning of the season.
• The Suratt brothers – Tate and Tobey – will lead the charge for the men’s team, while an experienced group of starters will provide stability for the women who finished an impressive 20th last season.

2022-2023 Season Preview 

• Second-year head coach Tim Lasusa has been using the buzz around Georgetown’s transition to varsity status to ramp up his recruiting, and it seems like the efforts have paid off.
• First-year players will likely fill key roles immediately for the Hoyas, but they will be bolstered by the returning starters and an experienced transfer.
• Georgetown reached the final of the Epps Cup last season but were unlucky to lose out on the championship on the final day. With the team additions, a top-20 position is in their sights.

2022-2023 Season Preview 

• Franklin & Marshall’s teams experienced up-and-down seasons in 2021-2022, ultimately finishing ranked 16th (men) and 19th (women) in the country.
• Historically, though, F&M has competed for B Division titles, and they will look to return to that level this season. 
• The women’s team’s incoming additions are like-for-like changes for the players that graduated last spring, while the men’s newcomers will need to fill some key roles at the top of the order.

• The Drexel women made a magical run to the Howe Cup final last year, capturing their highest finish in program history and injecting incredible energy into the Drexel athletics community.
• The Dragon women return almost the entire main core of their finalist roster from last season, including All-Americans Karina Tyma and Alina Bushma, and hopes will be high for a repeat performance this season.
• All-Americans Matias Knudsen and Haris Qasim will slide into key leadership positions for the men’s squad after former No. 1 Lucas Rousselet graduated last season. Can they keep pace and maintain their Top-8 positioning?

• Dickinson’s teams managed well through adversity last season, producing some strong results despite wavering support from their athletics department and the employment of a few part-time coaches.
• Now veteran coach Richard Glanfield is at the helm full time, and the teams are ready to rekindle their trajectory of growth and success that existed prior to the pandemic.
• Uncertainty around the team last season leaves the Dickinson squads a bit short-handed this year, but Glanfield will have the players ready to take on all comers.
