Harvard University Crimson
2022-2023 Season Preview
- Harvard University has won the last seven Howe Cups and the last three Potter Cups, so expectations will once again be very high up in Cambridge.
- Despite the tradition of excellence over the past several years which should bolster the teams’ plans, there are big shoes to fill in the lineups due to prominent graduations.
- Two-time National Champion Victor Crouin and Two-time National Finalist Hana Moataz have both moved on to the professional ranks, while All-Americans Samuel Scherl and Amina Yousry have graduated too. The mantle will now be passed to Marina Stefanoni, Marwan Tarek, and others, whose accolades speak quite a bit for themselves.

Quote from Coach: “Both of our teams lost a lot of experience with the 2022 graduates but we are looking forward to welcoming our accomplished first-years to campus and we’re excited to see what the teams can do this year. With Covid hopefully behind us, we have our fingers crossed for an injury-free and smooth season. There will be many teams fighting for the Ivy and nationals titles this year and we’re hoping to be contenders for all the championships”.
