The 2026 College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships concluded Sunday at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, bringing together programs from across the country for three days of competitive team squash.
The event featured 40 teams competing across five divisions, with 21 men’s teams contesting the Hoehn, Summers, and Conroy Cups and 19 women’s teams competing for the Kurtz and Walker Cups. Representing programs ranked 13 through 34 nationally, the championships showcased the depth and competitiveness of college squash beyond the top tier of the rankings.
Across the weekend, teams battled through their respective draws to reach Sunday’s championship matches, where five divisional titles were decided.
Hoehn Cup (Men’s Division)

The Hoehn Cup final delivered one of the most dramatic matches of the weekend, as MIT defeated Colby College 5–4 in a tightly contested battle that came down to the final match on court.
With the team score tied 4–4, the championship was decided by the #5 match between Rishabh Sharma (MIT) and Omar Bastawy (Colby). Bastawy took the opening game before Sharma responded by winning the second and third games to take control of the match.
The fourth game proved to be a tense battle, extending into extra points before Sharma secured a 15–13 victory, clinching the match and the Hoehn Cup title for MIT.
Kurtz Cup (Women’s Division)

In the Kurtz Cup final, Columbia University defeated Williams College 9–0 to claim the division title. Despite the decisive scoreline, the match itself featured numerous competitive battles across the lineup.
Two of the matches extended to five games, while four additional matches went four games, reflecting how closely contested many of the individual matches were. Columbia ultimately prevailed in the critical moments of those matches to secure the Kurtz Cup championship.
Summers Cup (Men’s Division)

The Summers Cup final was equally competitive, as Bowdoin College defeated Hamilton College 5–4 in another closely contested match.
Bowdoin held a 4–3 team lead with two matches remaining on court: the #1 match between Fotis Zafiriou (Bowdoin) and Jacob Shulman (Hamilton), and the #8 match between Oliver Pride (Bowdoin) and Carlo Caffuzzi (Hamilton).
Zafiriou ultimately secured the decisive point for Bowdoin, winning a hard-fought five-game match against Shulman and taking the fifth game 13–11 to clinch the team victory. Although the match had already been decided, Caffuzzi went on to win a closely contested five-game match at the #8 position, bringing the final team score to 5–4.
Walker Cup (Women’s Division)

In the Walker Cup final, St. Lawrence University defeated Franklin & Marshall College 8–1.
Both teams competed strongly throughout the lineup, with St. Lawrence ultimately securing victories across the majority of positions to claim the Walker Cup title.
Conroy Cup (Men’s Division)

In the Conroy Cup final, Haverford College delivered a strong team performance to defeat Connecticut College 7–2.
While the final score favored Haverford, several matches across the lineup were closely contested, contributing to a great championship match between the two programs.
A Weekend of Competitive College Squash
Matches were played across the 18 courts of the Specter Center throughout the weekend, with teams competing simultaneously across multiple divisions. The championships showcased the strength and depth of programs throughout the college squash landscape, as well as the competitive spirit that defines the collegiate game.
Congratulations to all teams and players on an outstanding season and a successful championship tournament.
