College Squash Talent on Display at 2025 Comcast Business U.S. Open

The 2025 Comcast Business U.S. Open, one of the premier events on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour, has once again highlighted the depth of talent emerging from college squash. Across the men’s and women’s main draws – each featuring 32 of the world’s top professionals – 18 players who came through the college squash system earned places in the field, including 16 CSA alumni and 2 current student-athletes.

College players continue to demonstrate the strength and depth of the collegiate game. Eleven CSA players advanced to the Round of 16, accounting for 34 percent of the round’s field, and three reached the Quarterfinals, representing 19 percent of the remaining competitors. These figures illustrate how college squash has become a proven foundation for player development and a consistent source of talent at the highest levels of the professional game.

College squash is a destination for emerging global talent and a proven environment for growth and advancement. Through world-class coaching, structured competition, and academic rigor, it helps student-athletes develop the skill, awareness, and discipline needed to succeed at the highest level. Players from around the world view college squash as a foundation for long-term growth—both on and off the court. That reach was evident last December, when 31 CSA students and graduates represented thirteen different nations at the 2024 World Team Championships, underscoring the global impact of the collegiate game.
