Wesleyan University: 2021-2022 Season Preview

Wesleyan University Cardinals

  • As with other CSA teams, the culture building and engagement efforts that Head Coach Shona Kerr has implemented with Wesleyan’s teams over the past 18 months will come to fruition as the competition season approaches.
  • College squash fans will see reformed starting lineups for the Cardinals this season with each team having graduated five of their top nine players from the 2020 championships.
  • The five lost players for the women were in the top seven places in the lineup, so Kerr will rely heavily on new roster additions when looking for early season success.
  • Major turnover on the men’s roster with at least 12 new players joining the squad means there could be an adjustment period before they reach peak performance this season.
