Hamilton: 2018-2019 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

In an impressive display of consistency in a growing sport, the Hamilton College Men’s Squash team finished the year ranked 29th for the third consecutive year.  With much of last year’s roster intact again in 2018-2019 – eight of the ten starters including the top 6 players – this could be the year that they break the mold and jump above that 29th spot.  In a development that bodes well for team competition and added depth, the Continentals add five first-years to their roster while only losing two players to graduation. While on-court success is always on the players’ minds, Head Coach Jamie King, a bastion of classic squash values, will consistently remind his players of the importance of sportsmanship, respect for others, and playing within the spirit of the game.  NESCAC foes Conn College and Wesleyan were just behind Hamilton in the rankings last season, so King’s squad will be eager to hold them at bay during their regular season matches.
