Harvard: 2018-2019 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

After four straight CSA Women’s National Championships, including last year’s undefeated season, Harvard Women’s Squash is the team to beat yet again in 2019.  The returning lineup is stacked with numerous All-America and All-Ivy League award winners, including four of the top five players – Individual National Finalist Gina Kennedy, Pan American medalist Sabrina Sobhy, and First Team All-Americans Kayley Leonard and Amelia Henley.  As if the crew of returning players wasn’t challenging enough, Head Coach Mike Way has added three first-year players with top notch credentials.  The battle for playing time within their own locker room will be fierce, which will only hone the Crimson’s skills as they prepare to take on all comers.  In the regular season this year, Harvard will take on nine of the other ten teams that appeared in the top 11 spots of last year’s rankings, hoping to show once again that they are the best of the Ivy League and the Women’s CSA competition.
