Amherst: 2018-2019 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Peter Robson’s men’s team will look to improve on their final 2018 ranking of 24 as they prepare for the 2018-2019 season.  All nine members of the starting roster from last year’s CSA Men’s Team Championships will return to the lineup this year, headlined by sophomore Terrence Wang, a 2018 Second Team All-NESCAC selection.  Wang rattled off four straight victories at the CSA Individual Championships last year, earning valuable experience that will lead the way for the Mammoths this year.  Seniors Harith Khawaja and David Merkel will add their experience to the top of the ladder along with another top first-year player from last year, Robert Parker.  Once again, Amherst will host the Pioneer Valley Invitational in January, one of the premier round robin competitions on the regular season schedule.
