William Smith: 2018-2019 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Reigning Liberty League Player of the Year Gabby Fraser returns to the William Smith lineup for her third year with the Herons and will lead a deep squad looking to build off of their Epps Cup Championship from last season.  Joining Fraser in the quest to improve upon their Number 25 team ranking is reigning Co-Rookie of the Year for the Liberty League, Jo Pacheco.  Coach Chip Fishback will aim to mesh the talents of a deep returning squad of seven of last year’s starters and four incoming first-year players. Standing in the way of William Smith’s progression up the rankings to join Walker Cup (C Division) play will be upstate New York neighbor Hamilton, as well as Connecticut College and Mount Holyoke.
