Princeton, NJ — At the 2017 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, Amherst and William Smith met in the Walker Cup (C Division) semifinals.
At the match at the #1 position, Gabrielle Fraser (William Smith) and Kim Krayacich (Amherst) played. Fraser won the match in five games (11-2, 11-2, 8-11, 7-11, and 11-9). Amherst defeated William Smith, 8-1, and went on to defeat Franklin & Marshall for the Walker Cup crown. Amherst finished the season ranked 17th in tha nation, while William Smith concluded the season ranked 20th.
