New Haven, CT — At the 2016 Men’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, George Washington University and the United States Naval Academy met in the Hoehn Cup (B Division) quarterfinal.
At the match at the #1 position, Mahmoud Abdel-Maksoud (George Washington) and Jack Herold (Navy) played. Abdel-Maksoud won the match in three games (11-5, 11-5, and 11-8). George Washington won the team match, 6-3, and lost to Cornell in the semifinals, before defeating Princeton, 5-4, to close out the tournament. Navy defeated Middlebury before falling to Franklin & Marshall in the consolation finals.
