Dartmouth: 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Dartmouth CollegeHanover, NH — After finishing last season as the runners up in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) at Team Championships, Dartmouth plans to regain a position in the Howe Cup. The Big Green lost their middle 3 from Team Championships to graduation, but they are expecting three first year students to join the squad. If Dartmouth is going to be successful this season, the top third of the line up will need to improve upon their 0.1875 win percentage from last season. Lydie McKenzie will serve as the captain for the Big Green. According to assistant coach Theo Woodward, McKenzie “has constantly been at the forefront of leading Dartmouth Squash community service projects. In addition, Lydie has been an important voice for the team in the Dartmouth Athletic community.” Chris Hanson, a Dartmouth graduate and current professional player, will be serving as a part-time assistant coach this season. A scheduled match with George Washington in early December will be an early test for the Big Green as they seek a Howe Cup birth.
