After being down 0-1 in games, Dewey won the next three games to win the individual match (8-11, 11-4, 12-10, and 11-5), giving George Washington the deciding victory to upset Stanford, 5-4.
Jason Shrubb (Bates College): Bates faced 12th-ranked Navy on Saturday. The Bobcats jumped out to a 4-2 lead, but Navy tied the team match at 4-4. The team match concluded with the #7s, which featured Bates senior Jason Shrubb and Navy senior John Hsu.
