Southern California: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Southern California, University ofLos Angeles, CA — The University of Southern California finished in the top half of the Hawthorn Cup (G Division) last season. This season, USC wants to move up a division to the Serues Cup (F Division). The Trojans will be without three players from last season’s team championships, but they are expecting five players to join the squad. The team will be traveling to regional round robins in the Midwest and on the West Coast. Co-captain Rishabh Shah is returning for his senior season. According to co-captain Manhar Bajaj, Shah “only picked up a racket in freshmen year for the first time. Rishabh has cemented his place in the top 3 in the USC lineup. From starting off at #8 during freshmen year, Rishabh has truly shown what passion, determination and commitment can do.” USC will need to do well in their regional round robins to possibly make the leap to the Serues Cup.
