Northeastern: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Northeastern UniversityBoston, MA — Last season, Northeastern University captured the Chaffee Cup (E Division) at Team Championships. This year, the Huskies are looking to capitalize on that momentum and make the jump to the Conroy Cup (D Division). Making that quest more challenging will be the departure of their coach, Luke Forster. According to co-captain TJ Dyer, the Huskies “still plan to implement the counsel Forster provided us in years past into this upcoming season as if he never left.” The team will also need to fill the vacancies of three players from last season’s Team Championships. The Huskies are expecting two players to join the middle of the ladder. “The amount of cohesion and camaraderie within our culture was a significant contributing factor to our success and improvement last year. We look forward to getting back on court on a regular basis and continuing that theme in effort to flourish in 2014 – 2015,” adds Dyer.
