New York, NY — Last season, New York University finished third in the Serues Cup (F Division) and 42nd overall in the national rankings. The team would like to move into at least the Chaffee Cup (E Division) and a top-35 ranking position this season. That will be a challenging goal. The team lost two players to graduation and is still in the process of filling those voids. The team is focused on matches with Haverford and Colgate. To make a jump into the top 35, NYU needs to schedule mores matches against teams in the top 35. As of the writing of this preview, NYU only has a single opponent on their schedule, Conn College, who was ranked in last season’s top 35. NYU needs a stronger schedule against many teams ranked in the 30s to make a serious push for a top-35 ranking.
