Middletown, CT — At the 2013 Wesleyan Round Robin in early December, Mount Holyoke and Wellesley played the final match of the first day.
At the match at the #1 position, Randima Ranaweera (Mount Holyoke) faced Rosemary O’Connor (Wellesley). After two games, the match was tied at 1-1. Ranaweera went on to win the final two games to capture the match (11-6, 5-11, 11-2, and 11-8). Mount Holyoke won the team match, 6-3.
At the Wesleyan Round Robin, Mount Holyoke went undefeated with victories over Smith, Wellesley, Wesleyan, and William Smith. Wellesley defeated William Smith, but lost to Mount Holyoke.
At the end of the first semester, Mount Holyoke is 5-2, while Wellesley is 5-5.
