Colby: 2013 – 2014 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Colby College Waterville, ME — Colby’s goal for the 2013 – 2014 season is simple. They want to improve their team rankings from 22nd at the end of last season. The Mules have an uphill climb to make that happen. They graduated their top 2 players from last season; however, there is only one senior in this year’s group. As always, Colby is focused on New England Small College Athletic Conference opponents. Also, their rematch with Mount Holyoke, who dealt the Mules a 4-5 loss to close out last season, will be key to improving their ranking.  Head coach Sakhi Khan is entering his 13th season leading Colby College. He will guide Colby through three major regular season events: Pioneer Valley Invitational, Yale Round Robin, and the NESCAC Championships. This season may be a stepping stone for the future of the program.
