College Squash Hall of Fame Player Profile: Wendy Zaharko

In 1971, Wendy Zaharko entered Princeton as a highly skilled and accomplished squash player. She was the captain of the inaugural Tigers’ varsity team. She won the Individual Championship in 1972, 1974, and 1975. She was also a member of Princeton’s National Championship Teams in 1972, 1974, and 1975. During her college career, Zaharko posted a perfect win-loss record, never losing either a game in dual match or tournament play.

After college, Zaharko coached professionally. In 1977, she began a career in medicine.
