Fordham: 2012 – 2013 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Bronx, NY — “Interesting season ahead!” promises Fordham head coach Bryan Patterson. The Rams have lost a number of players to graduation, but first-year player Kinkaide Webster is expected to play in the top 3. “We also have ‘found’ some tennis players who have converted to squash who are definitely challenging for [spots on] the team,” Patterson reports. He adds that Vassar will be one of the key matches on the Rams’ schedule: “Vassar are our local rivals and we are always looking to win. However ALL our matches are key matches for us!” Seniors Jack O’Brien, Ethan Brooks, and Alex Williams will lead the team as tri captains, and the whole squad can look forward to a promising future. Patterson is enthusiastic not just about Fordham squash, but about the university as a whole. He tells prospective players, “Fordham is a university that is on the up and has a plan for the next five years. This is a terrific university with a beautiful campus and great academic standards. Come see.”
